Cataract
Cataract is the condition when the normal crystalline lens of the eye loses its transparency and becomes opaque. It makes the central hole in the eye (pupil) looks whitish or grey causes gradual loss of vision and later blindness, the most interesting things about blindness from cataract is that such blindness is reversible.
