SOURCES AND CLASSIFICATION OF DRUGS
DRUGS
These are substance that act on central nervous system and produce a series of physical or physiological changes.
Drug would be considered as medicine. From legal stand points, any drug that is not being used for medical purposes is considered illegal.
GENERAL PROPERTIES OF DRUG
The drug must have a specific size, shape, atomic configuration (arrangement) and electrical change to be able to interact with receptor
A drug must have the necessary properties to travel to its site or action or receptor
It must be easily inactivated or excreted from the body once it has been used for its purpose.
